Wholesome Spaghetti

1 box whole wheat spaghetti

1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes

1 6 oz. can tomato paste

1 diced vidalia onion

1 pound 93% lean ground beef, ground turkey, or ground chicken instead (may eliminate meat for vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian option)

2 teaspoons basil

2 teaspoons garlic

2 teaspoons oregano

2 teaspoons sea salt

1/4 cup olive oil


  1. Put noodles into boiling water and cook.

  2. Prepare large sauce pan over medium heat by drizzling extra virgin olive oil.

  3. Add meat in sauce pan and season with sea salt. Cook until done. Add in onions to cook until desired.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and mix to create sauce.

  5. Let simmer on low heat to merry flavors.

  6. Drain noodles when done cooking.

  7. Serve sauce over noodles.

  8. Enjoy!
